following on from the 5.1 mix and sound design work for the premiere of Mark Leckey’s “Dream English Kid” autobiographical short at the NFT and Cabinet gallery, steve has completed site specific installations of the film soundtrack at Galerie Buchholz in Berlin and Munich’s Museum Brandhorst and the film has also recently won best short at Rotterdam International Film Festival 2016 and made it’s Norwegian premiere at Borealis Festival 2016.
in July steve finished another mix and installation of the 5.1 sound at Camp and Furnace in Liverpool for the Liverpool biennial 2016 which is on until October the 16th. recently reviewed by Adrian Searle in The Guardian “The sound is infectious and convulsive.”
September and October have been busy working on a remix and new 5.1 mix of “Green screen Refrigerator Action” by Mark Leckey for his retrospective at MoMA PS1 and 5.1 mix for Melanie Manchot of her piece “Out of Bounds”
in march 2017 steve finished a project with ATT by mixing a site specific 11.1 mix of epic 2 as part of the d3 upgrade.
May 2017 has seen a very special 7.1 site specific mix for the install of Mark Leckey’s giant motorway bridge at SMK Copenhagen‘s x-room, followed by an installation and mix in of “Affect Bridge Age Regression” at cubitt gallery in June.
September has been busy working on a 16 channel installation and site specific mix at Christies for Ab Rogers design/Maggies LIFE exhibition.
